• Congratulations to Grace Santry who passed the ‘A’ test. This is the highest test in Pony Club and takes a lot of dedication to achieve.

• ‘Newcomer/D/D+’ Rally: Open to all new members and those preparing for their D & D+ test. Friday, 6th & 13th October at West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C’ Rally: West Cork Equine Centre, 20th & 27th October, 7pm. Open to all who have passed their D+ test. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C’ Test will be arranged prior to Christmas. Open to those who are 11 years of age and regulary attending ‘C’ rallies.

• ‘C+’ Rallies: Open to those preparing for their ‘C+’, which will be held over the Christmas period. Friday, 6th, 13th & 20th October at 6pm -and- Saturday, 11th November & 2nd December at 2pm. Venue: Niamh Morrison’s, Captain’s Cross, Clonakilty. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15. These will be working rallies, weather permitting. Stable management to be arranged.

• ‘Road Safety Rallies’ will be arranged during November. If you haven’t already put your name down, please do so with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366 ASAP.

• Minimus: This is a competition for Under-12s (on 1st Jan 2007), consisting of swimming, running & mounted cross-country. Training in the swimming and running has commenced. Please contact Vanessa Keane if interested, 021-4778411.

• Beach Ride, Saturday, 7th October, Harbour View, Kilbrittain, 1pm. In aid of Riding For The Disabled Special Class, Convent School, Bandon. Cost: €15 -and- donations can also be made to any member of committee. Please book with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366, at least 3 days in advance.

• Games Rallies: Monday, October 23rd & November 6th, West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. Open to all. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366.

• Christmas Party: Friday, 15th December, West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. More details later.

• Membership renewal: Due in November. Cost: €80. Renewal forms will be sent out shortly.

• Showjumping League: January 7th, 14th, 21st 2007 @ West Cork Equine Centre. More details to follow.

• Parent’s Meeting / AGM: This is a very important meeting as a new committee must be elected. Venue: O’Donovan’s Bar, South Main Street, Bandon (formerly Bidie Walsh’s), Thursday, 30th November @ 9pm.
