• ‘Newcomers/D/D+’ Rally: West Cork Equine Centre, 23rd November, 7pm. Open to all. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• C Rallies: November 9th & 16th, West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C+’ Rallies: November 10th, 17th & 24th, Captain’s Cross, Clonakilty, 2-3.30pm. These will be working rallies weather-permitting. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• Cross-Country Training, Wednesday, 31st October, Port Arthur, Kinsale. Cost: €15. Please text and confirm entries to 087-2800210 before Sunday, 28th October. Starting times will be confirmed on Tuesday. This is open to all members.

• Road Safety Rallies: West Cork Equine Centre, Tuesday 30th October, 2pm. Open to all. Compulsory before taking C+ test. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• Swimming: Training has commenced in Douglas Swimming Pool on Monday nights, 6pm. Please contact Vanessa Keane if interested, 021-4778411. This is ideal training for Minimus and Tetrathalon.

• Non Pony Club Events: Hunter Trials, Aghabollogue, Sunday, 4th November - see local press for full details of this and other hunter-trials.

• Annual Parent’s Meeting will be held on Thursday, 8th November, 8pm, O’Donovan’s Bar, South Main Street, Bandon. It is important that all families be represented at this meeting.

• Showjumping League will take place at West Cork Equine Centre on Sunday, 6th, 13th & 20th January 2008. Open to all Area 5 members. Please note that membership must be renewed to participate in this event.

• Clipping: Horses & ponies expertly clipped. Reasonable rates. Contact Patrick, 086-3181490.
