• ‘Newcomer/D/D+’ Rally: Friday, 17th & 24th November, West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘D’ & ‘D+’ Test: Friday, January 12th, West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. Please book at least 7 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €20.

• ‘C’ Rally: West Cork Equine Centre, Friday, December 1st & January 19th (Mock Test), 7pm. Open to all who have passed their D+ test. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C’ Test Friday, January 26th. West Cork Equine Centre, 7pm. Please book at least 7 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €20.

• ‘C+’ Rally: 2nd December at 2pm. Venue: Niamh Morrison’s, Captain’s Cross, Clonakilty. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C+’ Test will be held during the mid-term break in February. Further rallies to be arranged.

• ‘Road Safety Rallies’ If you haven’t already put your name down please do so ASAP with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366.

• Minimus: This is a competition for Under-12s (on 1st Jan 2007), consisting of swimming, running & mounted cross-country. Training in the swimming and running has commenced. Please contact Vanessa Keane if interested, 021-4778411.

• Beach Ride: We would like to thank all members who attended and/or supported the Beach Ride. Proceeds of the ride amounted to €600 which has been presented to the Junior Presentation Covent Riding For The Disabled Special Class, Bandon.

• Games Rallies: Friday, December 8th -and- Friday, February 2nd & 9th. Open to all. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366.

• Christmas Party: Friday, 15th December, West Cork Equine Centre, 6.30pm.
• Art Competiton - 3 sections - U8, U12 & 12-and-over. Rosettes for 1st-3rd and prize for winner of each section.
• Mounted Fancy Dress - 2 sections - U10 and 10-and-over . Prizes for 1st-6th.
• Dog Show - 4 sections - small dog, large dog, "dog I would like to take home" and fancy-dress dog. All prizes sponsored by Meelin Stud.
• Baby Photo Shoot - Guess who?! Prizes for 1st-3rd.
• Mounted Games
• Refreshments will be served and Santa will be in attendance

• Membership renewal is now due. Cost: €90. Head Office have notified us of an increase in membership fees

• Showjumping League: January 7th, 14th, 21st 2007 @ West Cork Equine Centre. Start time: 10am with Micro Class, followed by Mini Class in the indoor arena.
• Midi class will commence at 12-noon, in outdoor arena - weather permitting - followed by the Maxi class.
• Team competitions at Midi height will be held in the indoor arena. Teams of 3 or 4 members with appointed Chef D’Equipe.
• Members are reminded to refer to tack sheets for proper turn-out, ie approved helmets, level 3 body protectors, long boots (or short boots with leather chaps, suede not allowed). All tack must be in good condition.
• Raffle will be held each day. Prizes can be sponsored to any committee member and will be greatly appreciated.

• Parent’s Meeting / AGM: This is a very important meeting as a new committee must be elected. Venue: O’Donovan’s Bar, South Main Street, Bandon (formerly Bidie Walsh’s), Thursday, 30th November @ 9pm.

• Please note members must attend a minimum of 3 rallies to be eligible to sit the ‘D’ and ‘D+’ test, a minimum of 8 rallies for ‘C’ test and a minimum of 1 year training for ‘C+’ test. Members must also meet the relevant age criteria for their test. Members must be have completed the lower test to part-take in their next, higher-grade, rally.
