• Attention all Parents - Important Notice
• In all disciplines Pony Club insurance will only cover a riding rally with:
• a maximum of eight participants per instructor (except Games Rallies)
• an IPC approved instructor present
• Rally must be recorded in newsletter
• Championship training for teams and individuals must be approved by the DC

• The committee wish to commend the behaviour of all members at Pony Club events in the past year. However, it has been brought to our attention that foul and abusive language has been used at some events.We would like to remind parents/guardians that this behaviour is not acceptable in Pony Club. Please refer to Code of Conduct.

• Camp 2006: Confirmed for the week 3rd-7th July at West Cork Equine Centre.

• Newcomer, D, D+ Rally - West Cork Equine Centre, Friday 10th March, 7pm.
• This is open to all new members and those preparing for the D and D+ test. Book with Connie O’Sullivan, 023 43366, at least 3 days in advance. Cost: €15.

• Minimus
• This is for under-12s and is a combination of running, swimming and mounted cross-country. Swimming training is currently taking place in Douglas Swimming Pool on Monday Nights. Date and venue for Cross County training to be confirmed and will be published in next newsletter. Contact Yvonne Murphy 021-4775957.

• Tetrathlon Training: Being organised for Mallow, on March 11th & 25th. Please contact Yvonne Murphy, 021-4775957, if interested. This training will consist of swimming, running and shooting.

• ‘C+’ Stable Management: Captain’s Cross, Clonakilty. Saturday, 18th & 25th March and 1st April. 2pm-3.30pm. Cost: €15. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Susan McCarthy, 023-41877.

• ‘C+’ Working Rally: Friday, March 24th -and- Friday, April 7th. 7pm-8.30pm. West Cork Equine Centre. Cost: €15. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Susan McCarthy, 023-41877.

• ‘C+’ Preparation for re-test: Friday, March 31st. 7pm-8.30pm. West Cork Equine Centre. Book with Connie O’Sullivan, 023 43366, at least 3 days in advance. Cost: €15.

• ‘B’ Stable Management: Captain’s Cross, Clonakilty. Monday, 10th April and Tuesday, 18th April, 7pm -8.30pm. Cost: €15. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Maureen O’Donovan, 023-44924.

• ‘B’ Specialised Training: Tuesday, 18th April. 11am-4pm. Bawnea House, Kilbrittain. Cost: €45. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Anne O’Connor, 023-49887.

• March 17th: Killeady Hunter Trials
• March 26th: South Union Hunter Trials - this will incorportate an Under-12 Minimus-type course
• April 2nd: Kerry Hunter Trials
• Sunday, 9th April: Carbery Point-to-Point. Kilpatrick, Bandon.
• April 9th: Duhallow Hunter Trials
• April 16th, Easter Sunday: Aghabollogue Hunter Trial
• April 23rd: Templemartin Hunter Trials
• These hunter trials are ideal preparation for Minimus, Tetrathlon and Eventing.
