• Parents & members are reminded that bookings for rallies can only be made to the person appointed to each individual rally, as set out in this newsletter. Ie: No bookings can be made through instructors, etc

• Congratulations to Olivia on being selected on the Irish U16 Hockey Team

• Newcomers, ‘D’ & ‘D+: West Cork Equine Centre, Friday 16th & 23rd February and 2nd & 9th March. 7pm. Open to all new members and those wishing to sit the ‘D’ & ‘D+’ test. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘D’ & ‘D+’ Test: Congratulations to all who passed their ‘D’ & ‘D+’ Test: Victoria, Veronica, Ingrid, Duncan, Lulu, Katie, Abbie, Orla and Marie.

• ‘C’ Stable Management Rally: West Cork Equine Centre, Friday, February 16th & 23rd, and March 2nd (Mock Test), 7pm. These rallies are essential to those who intend to sit the ‘C’ test., please bear in mind minimum criteria of attendance being 8 rallies. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C’ Working Rally: Saturday, 3rd March, 11am, West Cork Equine Centre. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366. Cost: €15.

• ‘C’ Test: This will take place on either Friday 9th or Saturday 10th March.

• ‘C+’ Stable Management: Niamh Morrison’s, Captain’s Cross, Clonakilty. Friday, 16th, 23rd February & 2nd March, 7pm. Please book at least 3 days in advance with Maureen O‘Donovan, 023-44924. Cost: €15. Working rallies will be arranged, weather-permitting.

• Minimus: This is a competition for Under-12s (on 1st Jan 2007), consisting of swimming, running & mounted cross-country. Training in the swimming and running has commenced. Please contact Vanessa Keane if interested, 021-4778411.

• The South Union Branch are staging Pony Club Hunter Trials on Sunday 25th February at 11am sharp. Classes - U12 Singles, U12 Pairs, Junior Singles, Junior Pairs, Senior Singles, Senior Pairs. Skull-caps, body protectors, medical armbands with passport photo are compulsory on the day. This is ideal training for members wishing to compete in Minimus/Hunter Trials/Horse Trials.
• Area 5 Pony Club Quiz & Disco: Friday, 16th March, Sarsfield GAA Pavillion, Riverstown, Glanmire. 8pm-1am. Being hosted by United Branch. We wish to put forward teams for this very enjoyable night. Please put your name down with Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366, ASAP.

• United Branch are also holding a 2-day Games Camp at Easter, 11th-12th April. Please contact Connie O’Sullivan, 023-43366, if interested.
